Purim schedule

Please note the following message from Rabbi Pessin:

Taanis Esther:

The Tzom begins (Rav Pessin Zt’l’s Shita) 5:32 am

Shachris: 8:15 am

Mincha: 1 pm *

(Tzom Ends: 6:31 pm one should try and hear Megilla while still fasting but if necessary the fast can be broken at 6:31pm)

Maariv 6:35 pm

Megilla 6:55 pm

Purim Day:

Shachris/Megilla: 8 am

(sorry we cannot exactly predict when Megilla laining will begin)

Mincha: 2 pm
Maariv: 8:30 pm

* Please note there will be Machatzis Hashekel coin and collection plates In the Shul from Mincha time on Taanis Esther Rabbi Pessin will act as Gabbai for Matanos Lievyonim once again this year, for both Kupas Ezra and Ezras Yisroel. The money collected will be distributed on Puriim as the Halacha requires so please make sure to give the Matanos to Rav Pessin before the end of Shachris Purim morning.
