Message from the Rov about Reb Shmuel Zentman

Dear Chaveirim,

Every so often the Ribono Shel Olam gives us the opportunity to express a Hakoras hatov that we owe someone in a concrete way.

Reb Shmuel Zentman has been with our Shul from its very inception and he is one of the Rav Zt’l’s leading Talmidim, and was of his greatest supporters in every way. Largely due to his efforts the Shul still exists and functions. There was never a time that I am aware of, that the Shul or an individual Shul member was in need, that R’ Shmuel was not the first to volunteer and render his assistance.

It is therefore wholly appropriate that the Shul through its members sponsor a significant ad in the Torah Umesorah dinner journal honoring him for his wonderful work with that very important organization. That holy work in Jewish education is, in and of itself worthy of recognition and acknowledgement.
