We wish Mazal Tov to Chaim and Shoshy Slomiuc on thier son Asher N”Y’s becoming a Bar Mitzvah.
All final requests for seats or changes in seating for Yom Hakipurim need to be sent to Avrohom Arlin or by going to this page by Wednesday.
If anyone has Shaalos regarding eating on Yom Hakipurim because of illness, please ask the Rav ASAP. We have instruction sheets printed for those who must eat Pachos M’k’shuir, and we will have grape juice, crackers, and peanut butter in Shul for those who need it on Yom Kippur.
This year, women who plan to light candles and then ride to Shul, or do some other M’lacha, should not only have in mind NOT to be Mikabel Yom Kippur, but Shabbos as well. Since Kabbalas Shabbos for most women normally begins with Neros Shabbos, they must have expressly in mind NOT TO BE MIKABEL BOTH SHABBOS AND YOM KIPPUR WHEN LIGHTING.
