About our shul

Bais Mayer Chevra Shas was founded in 1972 by Rav Avrohom Yehuda Leib Pessin Zt’l (author of the תמורת אי”ל). Rabbi Pessin served as Rov and Dayan for over 30 years until his petirah in 2006.

Today the shul is led by his son, Rabbi Ephraim Pessin Shlit”a who is continuing his father’s legacy of learning and teaching.

The shul offers daily minyanim, many shiurim and learning opportunities for men and women, as well as a hot kiddush every Shabbos and a lavish breakfast every Rosh Chodesh!
