Our Rabbi

Rabbi Ephraim Pessin Shlit”a, son of Rav Avrohom Yehuda Leib Pessin Zt’l, has been the Rabbi of Bais Mayer Chevra Shas since 2009.

Rabbi Pessin holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Jewish History, Jewish/Judaic Studies History from Friends World College as well as a MA equivalency and Smicha, Judaics from Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim.

Rabbi Pessin is also the Director of the Chevra Kadishah of Rockland County for the past 30 years and Director of Mesila Monsey.
